Boulder Startup Weekend 4

Foraker is a sponsor of Boulder Startup Weekend 4 and we were tasked with creating a new logo to use on the website, buttons, posters, stickers and t shirts. Startup Weekend is an event held annually in cities around the world where teams are given a weekend to develop a new startup company. I really wanted to use something other than the beautiful but cliche Flat Irons to represent Boulder. I decided to play off of the standard SW logo but "Boulder-ize" it with prairie dogs and mountains. Josh Giblette provided an assist with the typography. Also shown is an additional poster style concept I created.

About Me

As a lifelong artist and lover of technology, I naturally gravitated to web design. After graduating from the Art Insitute of Philadelphia in 2008, I moved away from my home in southern New Jersey to follow my dreams here in Boulder, Colorado. When I’m not poring over any and everything design related, you can find me glued to my Xbox, tinkering with my car, ripping on my skateboard, or ripping my pants at the hockey rink.
